The Great Flying Saucer Myth

The Great Flying Saucer Myth by Kelly L. Segraves

The Everlasting Gospel

The angel sent by God in the tribulation period will admonish, "Come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

That, my friend, in Revelation 14:7, is presented to us as the everlasting gospel. It says, "I, God created all things by power. I have the right to come to save, the right to come to judge."

John says he which testifies these things says, "Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

God has given us a picture of Himself, the One who in the beginning created man perfect. But also we have a picture of man who disobeyed God and fell into sin. It is a tragic picture. It is a picture that required the Lord Jesus Christ to leave His heavenly throne. Think of that! The Creator of the heavens and earth had to come to this planet to die on the cross to save sinful man. It is a picture of the destruction of the human race, but there is a promise found in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and His sinless life and His death on the cross as a substitute for your sins and mine. It is also a beautiful picture of His resurrection to display His power, in order to reveal to us the fact that the Creator of man will Himself one day come again to receive those unto Himself whom He created in the beginning who now, have been cleansed by His blood, share in His resurrection and eternal life because they believe in the truth of Jesus Christ. This is our hope and this is our message. The Bible has the answers. You and I need to proclaim it and stand behind it and be willing to fight for the truth it contains because God’s Word is God’s Word.
