Section I - Knowing the Will of God

Christ the Light

Christ is the Light and in Him we see no darkness, no sin. Our eyes don’t see things, we only see the light that is reflected from things. If there is no light, we cannot see, for all we have is darkness. As we add light we discern images, with more light we see objects, people, and things. If we have enough light all we can see is light.

Paul was blinded by the Light of the world.

Psalm 27:1

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (KJV)

Psalm 119:105

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (KJV)

Isaiah 2:5

5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD. (KJV)

John 8:12

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (KJV)

John 12:36,46

36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. (KJV)

46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. (KJV)
