With
our education, our stuffing of our heads with secular knowledge,
our business of doing things of no eternal value, our working for
dollars, trading our time to survive and therefore wasting most
of our life outside of God’s will, there will be little for us
to be rewarded for during this 70 years of preparation for all eternity.
One day we will
be judged, not for all of our accomplishments, but for our faithfulness
to God’s word and to our doing of His
will. |

Romans
14:7-12
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to
himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether
we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore,
or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived,
that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou
set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before
the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee
shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself
to God. (KJV)
Matthew 10:32-42
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will
I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also
deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came
not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in
law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy
of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is
not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after
me, is not worthy of me.
