Flying Saucers In the day in which we live, it seems that we have been bombarded with about every new concept imaginable. The most recent challenge to the Word of God has to do with the concept that flying saucers have landed upon this planet in ages past. It is claimed that they are responsible for all the various technologies found in past civilizations and even that these visitors, extraterrestrial beings, are our gods who are returning now to help us enter into a new age. Many of these claims are quite interesting because we find in them what I feel to be a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. Central among the themes found in reports of visits by extraterrestrial beings there are two major areas of Biblical concern: the origin of man and miracles. The implications of these two areas lead us to an understanding of what God and Satan are doing on this planet in these days before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. |
